Gumroad's 10% + 50¢ at $20k, $50k and $100k a month
Gumroad became a merchant of record in 2025 and charges 10% + 50¢ on direct sales. Whop charges 2.7% + 30¢, or 4.7% + 30¢ if you enable managed tax on every sale.

The saving is five points or more even after paying for Whop's tax service, and Gumroad customers are one-off buyers of files, so there is no subscription base to lose. The work is uploading files, choosing the tax setting, and emailing your list. Gumroad migration guide.
