Editorial Policy
Sourcing
- Primary sources first. Fees come from each provider's published pricing page or fee documentation. Program terms come from the provider's own dashboard, terms pages or partner materials. We cite the exact page at the foot of each article.
- Secondary sources are labelled. When we quote a third-party article, a Reddit thread or a review site, we say so, and we do not treat it as fact.
- Unpublished means unpublished. If a provider does not publish a rate — Patreon's processing fee, Whop's international payout fees — we say "not published" instead of estimating.
Calculations
Fee comparisons are computed from published rates at stated monthly volumes and order sizes. We state the assumptions (domestic cards, no optional add-ons, no currency conversion) so you can adjust them for your own business. The tables are generated by the same script every time the site is rebuilt, so a change to one rate updates every page that uses it.
Independence
We earn from the Whop Partners program. To keep that away from editorial decisions:
- Pages are written before any commercial consideration and are not shown to Whop.
- Where a competitor is cheaper or better for a given business, the page says so and links to the competitor's pricing page.
- We do not accept payment, free accounts or discounts from any provider named on the site.
Updates and corrections
Each page carries the date its figures were last checked. We re-check the full fee set at least quarterly, and sooner when a provider announces a change. Corrections can be sent to karel.moreau@migratepayments.com; material corrections are noted on the page.
Use of automation
Pages are assembled by a script from a checked fact set, and drafted with software assistance. Every page is reviewed by Karel Moreau before publication.
