Affiliate programs and payouts on Whop
Whop runs affiliate programs natively: a business sets a commission (Whop defaults to 30% of the sale; sellers set 10–50% in practice), affiliates share a ?a= link, Whop attributes sales for 30 days from the click and pays the affiliate from the business's balance automatically. The business pays 1.25% affiliate processing on attributed sales. Per-affiliate overrides are supported via API. Compared with running Rewardful, PartnerStack or FirstPromoter on top of Stripe, the tooling is simpler and the payouts are included.
How it works
- Enable affiliates on a product; set the default rate and whether it applies to renewals.
- Affiliates generate links from the product page or their dashboard.
- Whop tracks clicks and attributes purchases within the window.
- Commission is deducted from your balance and paid to the affiliate's Whop balance, subject to the same KYC and payout rules.
- Create overrides for specific affiliates (higher rates, second-tier arrangements) via the affiliates API.
